Old stuff

I thought that for everyone or anyone's reference I would add the two baby G updates that I had mass emailed. I am starting to see the sky is the limit when it comes to design and organization of "blogging".

I hope ya'll enjoy and there'll be more to come later...

Baby Gillespie Update

Today we had our second visit with Dr. Fuller. Things are going great!

We got to hear Baby G’s heart beat- which was two or three times faster than mommy’s!

Baby G is about the size of a large grape- about 1.25 inches this week.

Mommy is feeling great, think I just sailed right by the whole nausea thing- Praise God!

Mommy has finally had some weight gain but we are pretty sure it is fluid & not true weight gain.

Dr. Fuller told mommy to take it easy on the salt because 1 level tsp of salt means 4lbs of fluid retention in a pregnant woman! This came after my confession of buying low sodium V-8 and having to add salt to it because it tasted terrible!

Daddy has gained weight too! He has had an excellent appetite since he found out he was going to be a father! He has even had a few cravings!

Mommy has not had too many cravings though tomato juice, orange juice and tomato soup are real staples in her diet right now.

Mommy’s pants are getting tighter, which Dr. Fuller said is right on target.
Dr. Fuller said that if we do not find out gender with our next ultrasound (December) that we will be in the 1% that chooses not to know…but that that is a lot of fun!

Next appointment is November 11- stay tuned for the next Baby G update!
